Here at Brazilianology, we are proud to always practice top sanitization protocols, but we have put even more stringent safety protocols into place so our guests and staff can feel safe during the waxing experience. We will be following best practices as legislated, and we ask for your cooperation in following these new measures in order to make sure that we’re adhering to the law and ensuring everyone’s safety. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
Hand washing or sanitization is highly encouraged upon arrival.
If a guest has a fever, cough, or other symptoms, we kindly ask that they reschedule or cancel their reservation to avoid contact with others in our establishment. Please do not come into our place of business if you are sick.
Masks are optional for guests and staff.
Only the guest may enter the wax suite (please try not to bring children or other guests).
As always, rooms are cleaned after each guest, but we continue to be vigilant with sanitation! For updated information regarding COVID-19, Ohio's case counts, public health resources, and other health-related information, click here.
We understand that schedules may change. To avoid a Cancellation fee, we require notice of cancellation at least 24 hours BEFORE a scheduled reservation time.
By rescheduling a service BEFORE the 24 hour window, a deposit may apply to the rebooked service. If the service is canceled BEFORE the 24 hour window, the prepaid deposit will be issued to the guest's profile in the form of a Gift Certificate.
If a guest cancels or reschedules a reservation in UNDER 24 hours before a scheduled reservation time, it will be classified as a "Short-Notice Cancellation", and the prepaid deposit is forfeited, or a fee of 30% of the scheduled service total (plus tax) will be charged.
If a guest has a Wax Package, and cancels or reschedules under 24 hours before their reservation time, redemption of the service on the Wax Package will occur, or a "Short-Notice Cancellation" fee of 30% of the original service price(s) will be charged.
If a guest books a service using Reward Point redemption, (s)he will not be charged the prepaid deposit. For redemption, the full reward point total required must be applied during booking. Services canceled or rescheduled under 24 hours before a reservation time will result in forfeit of reward points applied.
NO SHOW POLICY
Guests who miss reservations without proper cancellation will forfeit their prepaid deposit, or incur a No Show fee of 30% of the scheduled service total (plus tax).
If you are more than 9 minutes late for your reservation, we may have to reschedule all or part of your services. If you know that you are going to be running late, we ask that you contact us and let us know so that we can adjust schedules to best accommodate you and our other guests.
Wax packages are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Our private wax suite is limited to the guest receiving services only.
Each suite suite contains breakable items (i.e. mirrors, glass containers), and dangerous equipment that is not suitable for children and additional occupants.
Please limit your cell-phone use during the service. Kindly take your calls outside or in the lobby area prior to or after your service. Video recording is prohibited, unless permission has previously been granted.
This one is on us. We use only sanitary equipment & enforce a strict “No Double-Dip Policy,“ which means that the same spatula or applicator will NEVER be re-dipped into the wax pot.
The nauseating truth is that double-dipping is common practice in wax application. This method uses the same spatula for the entire treatment, re-dipping the used applicator back into the vat of wax. This contaminated wax is then reused for treatments on other individuals. Unfortunately, this technique can increase the chances of potentially harmful bacteria spreading from one client to another, which is particularly disturbing when dealing with the body’s nether region.
We support and highly encourage contactless payment by solely accepting credit/debit cards, store gift certificates, or NFC payment (i.e. Apple Pay). Please refrain from paying with cash (unless it is used to tip your Specialist), as we can not provide change.
TIPPING YOUR SPECIALIST
Tipping is not required, but graciously appreciated. Cash is accepted to tip your Specialist, or you may add the tip to your total upon checkout. We also provide a Venmo and CashApp booklet at the front desk as another option for tipping.

Personal Information We Collect:
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site.
In addition, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.
How We Use Your Personal information:
We use the order information that we collect to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (processing your payment information, shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). We also use this Order Information to communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
